I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new and returning families for the 2025–2026 school year! We are incredibly proud to continue celebrating Ladera’s recognition as a California Distinguished School for the 2024–2025 school year—an honor that reflects the dedication, hard work, and collaborative spirit of our entire school community.

Our amazing teachers and staff are excited for another exceptional year as we build on our strong academic foundation and continue our commitment to inspiring creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication in every student. As we move into this new school year, Ladera remains focused on fostering a school culture rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and inclusive practices—ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Over the past 24 years in the Tustin Unified School District, I have had the privilege of serving as a classroom teacher (Arroyo, Veeh, Myford), Digital Learning Coach, Instructional Coach, District ELA TOSA, and now as Principal of Beswick and Ladera Elementary Schools. I have led districtwide initiatives and partnered with community leaders to support the success of students throughout Tustin. These experiences have prepared me to continue leading the legacy of excellence that defines Ladera.
